Infinity 5002i uses a polypropylene woofer cone combined with a hi-roll rubber surround and deep basket. Vivid stereo imaging relies on your speakers' ability to produce smooth, lifelike high frequencies in your car. The Infinity series speaker uses a full edge-driven dome tweeter (often found in better home speakers), not the "W-dome" (or balanced dome) tweeter commonly found in car speakers. The tweeter's textile material offers extraordinary strength and supple intonation of high frequencies. The patented Unipivot design allows you to rotate the tweeter to direct high notes up to your ears. This woofer spans more surface area than standard cones, so low-frequency output is generated smoothly and efficiently.
